Trusted Outdoor Contractors in Dorset and Somerset
For more than a quarter of a century, Mintern Fencing & Sheds has been helping people across Dorset and Somerset transform their gardens, paddocks and outdoor spaces. What began with fencing has grown into a full outdoor service, covering gates, bespoke sheds and garden buildings, decking, landscaping and patios.
Whatever the job, the approach is the same: turn up when we say we will, do the work to a high standard, and leave the site clean and tidy. It is a simple way of working, and it is why so much of what we do comes from repeat customers and personal recommendations.
We are proud members of Checkatrade, and prouder still of the genuine five-star reviews our customers have left describing our teams as helpful, hard-working and a pleasure to have around.
The Values Behind Every Job
Craftsmanship First
We build the way we would want it built for ourselves, good materials, properly set posts, and a finish we are happy to put our name to.
Respect for Your Home
Polite, punctual teams who look after your garden and your neighbours, and clear away every last offcut before they leave.
Part of the Community
We are a local Dorset firm. We support community projects nearby, and most of our work comes from neighbours recommending us to neighbours.
Supporting our community. We were glad to donate roofing felt to the local Eco in Mind project, whose team told us it “means so much to receive support from the company.” Helping out where we can is part of being a local firm.
Trusted Outdoor Work, Done Properly
The reasons local homeowners and landowners come back to us, and recommend us to their friends and family.
